How to Use the Respichamber Diamond Spacer Device

- Shake the MDI well and put into the Respichamber
- Breath out, away from the Respichamber, to the end of a normal breath.
- Put the mask around your nose, mouth and seal it.
- Press down on the MDI once and let go. Breathe in slowly until your lungs are full. No whistle should be heard. (If you do hear a whistle breathe-in slower)
- Take the Respichamber out of your mouth. Hold your breath for 10 seconds if you can. Breathe out.
- If you need a second puff, wait 30 seconds, shake your inhaler again, and repeat steps 5 to 8.
- Rinse, gargle and spit out
Note : Step 7: If you can’t take a deep breathe in and hold it, keep the mask tight and breathe in and out slowly 5-6 times.
Reminder : NO WHISTLE when you breathe in. If you do hear a whistle, breathe in slower.
